Love this place. I tried the veggie samosa tonight for the first time and it was great. My favorites are the small fishes and the okra. Also, tonight the owner sat down with me and my classmates for an hour so we could interview him about his experience. Thank you Mr. Noni!

Crowded, yet the most popular shopping and eating place, compared to other similar Bangladeshi places in Jackson Heights. Haat Bazar has a Restaurant and a grocery. The restaurant serves Bangladeshi food, Kebabs and snack items, including sweet meat. While the grocery has halal meat, fish and vegetables, matching Bengali taste. It also caters to the Bengali spices and toiletries. Reasonably priced but restaurant items seems to be on the higher side. So far cleanliness is concerned, I can not give more than a three star, but for tasty food and snack items, they definitely deserve 4 stars.

Great tasting variety of Bangladeshi food at moderate prices. The staff are nice but often struggle to handle the crowdedness during rush hours and often do not pay heed to the customers in the line and do not even respond to verbal communication. From a hygienic point of view, a grocery store that handles raw meat and fish and a restaurant shouldn’t be housed in the same building.

Awesome Bangladeshi food, tea and sweets. One of my staple favourites is their rohu fish with potatoes and cauliflower curry. They also have a good selection of bharthas (mashed item dishes).

Good tea is available here. Other foods so so. Most Bengali food you can have here. Fresh meat and fish are also sold in other part. Good place. Could be more clean.
